The WCPM program is accredited by the National Certified Public Manager® Consortium. In Washington State, the consortium program is managed by South Puget Sound Community College.
WASCPM is affiliated with the American Academy of Certified Public Managers (AACPM). The AACPM is a national society of member states.

Chief Batiste explains that building trust and respect is important when you have to lead others in a crisis.
You must lay out your policies and follow them. Take the time to plan and rehearse for the crisis. The key is to reduce the surprises, so that everyone knows what to expect.
Chief Batiste answered a wide range of questions that a majority of the participants got value out of.
You should have been there; it was a nice session.
